Federico Cavallini

(Livorno, Italy, 1974)
He attended technical-industrial studies and continued with the course in Art History at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy at the University of Pisa.
He graduated in History of Art Criticism with a thesis on the scholastic books on History of Art adopted in the Italian school between the two world wars. Between 2004 and 2008 he lived in Rome and worked in the studio of the artist Fabio Mauri. In 2012 with other artists and curators residing in Livorno, he founded Carico Massimo, an artistic production space based in an ancient port warehouse near the industrial port. In 2013 he participated in the collective exhibition “Finte nature. Una nuova scena artistica toscana” at the Mac,n Contemporary¬†and 1900s¬†Art Museum (Monsummano Terme). In 2014 he participated in the collective exhibition “Estetica della fame” at Villa Romana (Florence).
